University of Sahiwal organizes Entrepreneur Gala
It is important that universities and industry have a close relationship.
Vice-Chancellor University of Sahiwal Professor Dr. Javed Akhtar has said that in order to enable students to meet the requirements of practical life, it is important that universities and industry have a close relationship.
In order to impart practical training to the children as per present day requirements, collaboration between Sahiwal Chamber and Department of Business Administration is most welcome. This will greatly help the students in getting practical training and getting employment.
He said this while addressing the Entrepreneur Gala organized by the Department of Business Administration of the University of Sahiwal.
Chairman of the department Dr. Waris Ali, President of Sahiwal Chamber Chaudhry Kashif Riaz, Additional Registrar Syed Asghar Ali Shah, Faculty members Dr. Muhammad Hasnain, Dr. Bilal Anwar, Dr. Saira Aziz, Riaz Hussain Ansari, Alia Manzoor, Nazia Hussain, Syeda Natasha were present in the ceremony. And a large number of students including Rafia Kazmi participated.
He said that any university’s investment in research and exploration will bring new ideas to the students and they will be able to compete in this highly competitive market.
President of Sahiwal Chamber Chaudhry Kashif Riaz said that the members of the chamber are keen to provide practical training to students who have obtained degrees from the Industrial University of Sahiwal.
This will enhance the skills of the students and they will be able to adapt themselves according to the market demands.
Head of Business Administration Department, Dr. Waris Ali, said that 108 students have displayed 44 projects in this third Inter-Punoir Gala. This will go a long way in strengthening the relationship between the Department of Business Administration and the Sahiwal Chamber.
