University of Sahiwal organizes a grand Mushaira
Dr. Muhammad Waseem Tufail thanked all the guests and appreciated the efforts of Majeed Amjad Literary Society.
Under the direction of Vice Chancellor University of Sahiwal Prof. Dr. Javed Akhtar, A Mushaira was organized by Majeed Amjad Literary Society Jamia Sahiwal.
Nasir Ali Nasir, Arshad Abbas Zaki, Akram Rehan, Ikram Arifi, Syed Fazal Geelani, Qamar Raza Shahzad and Wajid Ameer were the special guests of the mushaira.
On this occasion, President of Majid Amjad Literary Society and moderator of Mushaira Muhammad Roshanul Haq, Ali Pir Ali, Hamza Ejaz Sahil, Abdul Rahim Daim and Ehsan Asghar and Mubashir Saeed received applause from the audience with their poetry.
Director of Research Dr. Muhammad Ayub, Head of Chemistry Department Dr. Amin Abid and Head of Physics Department Dr. Tariq Masood were specially present.
Finally, Director Student Affairs Dr. Muhammad Waseem Tufail, Dr. Tariq Masood and Dr. Amin Abid gave honorary shields to the guest poets.
