University of Sahiwal students participate in Innovation Expo Lahore
60 students and teachers from 12 departments of the university of Sahiwal participated in the annual expo Lahore.
In the All Punjab Universities Innovation Expo held at the Expo Center Lahore under the auspices of the Punjab Higher Education Commission, University of Sahiwal students also showcased their creativity by presenting innovative ideas and research projects.
60 students and teachers from 12 departments of the university participated in the annual expo under the direction of Vice Chancellor University of Sahiwal Prof. Dr. Javed Akhtar.
At least 5 projects from Information Technology, Business and English Departments of the University were selected for exhibition.
It should be remembered that 450 projects of major public and private universities across the province were exhibited in this expo and the Governor of Punjab was the chief guest. The projects of Jamia Sahiwal, which is fast emerging among the major universities of the province, were the focus of the audience. Those projects were highly appreciated by the Vice Chancellors, Deans, Directors and guests of the universities.
The arrangements for the participation in the expo and the exhibition of the projects were made by the research department of the university under the supervision of director Dr. Muhammad Ayub. While other participating teachers included Dr. Sarmad Masood, Dr. Shabbir Ahmed, Dr. Bilal Anwar, Sheikh Umar Daraz, Shamriz Ali and Dr. Tariq Javed.
On this occasion, the teachers and students said that by participating in the expo, they not only got acquainted with modern ideas, but also got the motivation to think more diligently and submit more projects and ideas in the future.
They also thanked the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and Transport Officer of the University for the permission and arrangements for this academic visit.
