Smoggy weather causes smart lockdown in Punjab Pakistan

Lahore is still ranked second in the world due to smog, the air quality index has been recorded at 371.

Due to smoggy weather in Punjab province of Pakistan, smart Lockdown has been implemented in ten districts and schools will remain closed.

There will be a lockdown in Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Sahiwal and Sargodha divisions. Transportation will be limited in these cities.

Markets will be able to open after 4 pm, restrictions will not apply to medical stores, petrol pumps, bakeries, grocery stores, utility stores, call centers and IT centers.

Lahore Mall Road will be closed for all types of traffic today, only cyclists and pedestrians will be allowed on Mall Road.

It should be noted that the provincial capital Lahore is still ranked second in the world due to smog, the air quality index has been recorded at 371, the air of Karachi is also harmful to health due to smog.

India’s capital New Delhi tops the list globally, recording an AQI of 414. It is also impossible to breathe in the polluted air of the city, due to smog. Citizens have started suffering from diseases, medical experts have instructed the citizens to take full precautions.
