Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Saima Ali has visited rural health center 55/5L where she expressed her displeasure at the absence of the duty doctor.

DC Sahiwal Saima Ali sought an explanation from the shift in-charge medical officer, Dr. Osama Ateeq. She said that irresponsible staff have no place in hospitals. The DC checked the stock of medicines and interacted with the patients.

The Deputy Commissioner also made a detailed review of the cleanliness of the health center and directed the CEO Health that there should be exemplary cleanliness in all the health centers of the district. She further said that patients should get full treatment facilities at health centers.

DC Sahiwal Saima Ali presides over performance review meeting of Price Control Magistrates

Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Saima Ali has said that any laziness or negligence will not be tolerated to make it possible for the public to get daily necessities at fixed prices.

She said that all price control magistrates should improve their performance and check the prices of essential commodities on a daily basis.

She was presiding over the performance review meeting of Price Control Magistrates in her office here in which Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Aitzaz Aslam Marth, ADC General Syed Usman Munir Bukhari, AC Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Chaudhry, AC Chichawatni Sardar Mehtab, all Price Control Magistrates including Khan Baloch, SNA Khurram Saleem participated.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the absentee Price Magistrates to issue show cause notices during the auction process in the markets.

During the meeting, the performance from April 1 to April 30 was reviewed. It was informed in the meeting that a total of 32991 inspections were conducted in Sahiwal district, 19 lakh 60 thousand 500 rupees were fined and 17 FIRs were registered for serious violation and 129 shopkeepers were also arrested.

In which 20570 inspections, 12 lakh one thousand rupees fine, 8 FIRs and 112 people were arrested in Sahiwal Tehsil.

Similarly, 12421 inspections were conducted in Tehsil Chichawatani during which 7 lakh 59 thousand 500 rupees were fined, 9 FIRs were registered and 17 persons were arrested.
