38 years old Alana Hadid has named her production company ‘Watermelon Pictures’ and the logo of the company is a watermelon similar to the flag of Palestine.
In a promo released on the official Instagram page of Watermelon Production Company, it was stated that now our production company will always be present in the field to bring the issue of Palestine before the whole world. The report said that the name of the first film made under the banner of Alana Hadid’s production company based on the history of Israeli occupation and atrocities on Palestine is ‘Walled Off’, which will be released very soon.
The film is based on the story of the ‘Wall of Hotel’ near the occupied West Bank in Jerusalem, which faces a mural funded and designed by British street artist Banksy.
Palestinian-Italian-American filmmaker Wayne Arfuso is the writer and director of the film, while Alana Hadid’s half-brother Anwar Hadid is a co-producer.
Other producers of the documentary include Roger Waters, grandson of Nelson Mandela and co-founder of Pink Floyd.
It should be noted that Alana Hadid is the step-sister of Gigi and Bella Hadid, and like her younger sisters, she continues to raise her voice in favor of the oppressed Palestinians.
