In Islamabad, police have launched a major crackdown against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers who raid on the final call of Imran Khan.
During search and combing operations, a total of 300 workers have been arrested from various police jurisdictions across the city.
Where were the arrests of PTI supporters made?
According to police sources, arrests were carried out at the following locations:
- Karachi Company Police Station**: 70 workers
- Kohsar Police Station**: 60 workers
- Bara Kahu Police Station**: 20 workers
- Ramna Police Station**: 25 workers
- Lohi Bher Police Station**: 35 workers
- Sangjani Police Station**: 45 workers
- Tarnol Police Station**: 42 workers
Details of PTI Protest and Arrests
Police stated that the arrested workers had arrived in Islamabad in groups. Guesthouses and hostels were also searched to thwart any potential protest campaigns.
Government Measures to stop 24 November Final Call protest
In anticipation of PTI’s protest, various routes in Islamabad have been completely blocked:
- Chungi No. 26 has been sealed with containers, and Rangers have been deployed.
- Srinagar Highway has been closed at Zero Point.
- Expressway at Koral Chowk has been blocked from both sides, where a container caught fire. However, the cause of the fire remains unknown.
Government Stance on PTI Protest
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Atta Tarar stated, “Anyone coming to Islamabad for protests will be arrested.”

The crackdown comes ahead of PTI’s announced protest in Islamabad today. Police and law enforcement agencies are taking stringent measures to prevent any potential unrest or illegal activities.
