Government Graduate College Sahiwal holds a Sports Event

Sahiwal (Sahiwal News – Arshad Farooq Butt) Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed has said that sports engage the youth of any nation with the spirit of winning and the establishment of sports fields can save the young generation from many types of social evils.
Thanks to sports, a sportsman’s spirit develops in a person. He said that sports are essential for the life of every human being which keeps us physically fit and strong.
He expressed these views while addressing a function organized at Government Graduate College Sahiwal in which 204 players who won divisional level competitions were sent to participate in provincial level competitions.
He encouraged the players. Addressing the event, Director Colleges Professor Masood Faridi said that a healthy body is essential for a healthy mind.
He said that athletes are the face of any nation who inspire positive emotions. Principal Government College Professor Mumtaz Ahmad Vito said that all the players should enter the field for victory.
He said that Government College Sahiwal has won the first positions at the division level in the first eight competitions. He also thanked Education Secretary Javed Akhtar Mehmood for organizing the games.
