Aamir Khan appeared on the big screen for the first time in Nasir Hussain’s film ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’, when he was just 7 years old.

2) Aamir Khan’s Father was against his acting career

Aamir Khan’s father did not want Aamir Khan to become an actor, as most of the films he produced were flops and several were not even released.

Tahir Hussain did not want his son to become a part of the film industry, but Aamir Khan was so passionate about becoming an actor that he even left college to pursue films.

3) The movie that was never released

At the age of 18, Aamir Khan acted in his childhood friend Aditya Bhatiacharya’s short film ‘Pera Naviya’, after seeing Aamir Khan in this silent film, film director Ketan Mehta cast him in his film ‘Holi’. However, this low-budget college drama film never made it to the theatres.
