Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Captain (Rtd) Ikram ul Haq visited the Regional Plan 9 Center established by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) at University of Sahiwal.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Yasir Farid, Additional Registrar Syed Ghulam Ali Asghar, Director Research Dr. Muhammad Ayub and Center Manager Muhammad Hasnain were also present on this occasion.
The students expressed hope that the Deputy Commissioner’s visit would increase cooperation between the Sahiwal district administration and technology start-ups, which would prove important for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the ideas presented by the incubators and hoped that the center would improve the creativity of the students.
It should be noted that the largest technology incubator of Punjab Information Technology Board in Sahiwal Division under the name of Regional Plan 9 has been established at University of Sahiwal with the aim of fostering ideas and startups in modern sciences including business, commerce, economics and computer science. Its purpose is to help in the development of the country by providing technical support.
