Director Sahiwal Arts Council plants on World Forest Day

Director Sahiwal Arts Council Saleem Qaiser has said that trees are an integral part of our life so we should plant more trees to make our environment green and pleasant.

He said this while planting different types of saplings with his staff at the Sahiwal Arts Council on the occasion of World Forestry Day.

The director said that the protection of trees is the national responsibility of all of us, at present the whole world is facing the threat of global warming and abundance of trees and increase in forests can reduce this threat to a great extent.

Director Sahiwal Arts Council said that trees provide oxygen to mankind which is very important and necessary for human life.

Apart from Director Arts Council Salim Qaiser, Assistant Directors Madiha Shams, Waseem Akram, Ilyas Akbar Sughla and Qasim Khosa also planted saplings.
