WhatsApp Introduces New Shortcuts to Streamline Status and Channel Updates

WhatsApp is also refining the floating action button within the Updates tab, which now offers several options for creating and sharing content in channels.

By selecting this button, users can start new channels, share content (photos, videos, text, and voice), or post updates within existing channels.

This update consolidates all options for status and channel updates into one simplified area, making it easier than ever to stay connected and share content.

The new shortcuts are expected to be available to more users in the coming weeks, with beta testers currently able to access them through the latest WhatsApp beta update (version 2.24.26.13) on the Google Play Store.
