University of Okara delegation visits the flood-affected areas
The affected people thanked the Vice-Chancellor and students of the University of Okara.
Sahiwal (Sahiwal Updates – Arshad Farooq Butt) Students from Life Sciences department and faculty members of the University of Okara visited the flood affected areas of Okara and Pakpattan under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Wajid.
The participants trained the local people in the prevention of infectious diseases dengue and malaria. According to the details, the students and faculty members of the University of Okara under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Wajid visited the flood-affected areas of Okara and Pakpattan.
University of Okara delegation trained the flood-affected people on preventive measures against various diseases including dengue and malaria. They visited Head Sulaimanki and Malik Bahawal and surrounding areas and also met the people residing in the established flood relief camps. .
In the meeting, Akram, who was affected by the flood, appreciated the initiative of the University of Okara and said that he was grateful by the fact that the students came to his aid.
The affected people also thanked the Vice-Chancellor and students of the University of Okara.
