UAE offers Pakistan to help in reducing the effects of smog

The United Arab Emirates has offered technical assistance to Pakistan to reduce the effects of smog.

This offer was revealed by Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, while talking to the Pakistani media.

He expressed concern over the widespread smog in Pakistan, especially in Punjab, while reminding that the UAE government had helped Pakistan in this regard during the caretaker government.

At that time, the UAE had sent special aircraft that do cloud seeding and this brought artificial rain in some areas. The rain brought relief to some citizens of Pakistan.

Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi always comes forward for projects for the betterment of the people of his host country Pakistan.

A UAE official said their officials are in touch with the government of Pakistan. He hoped that more measures would be taken to remedy the situation regarding smog.

However, instead of taking appropriate measures to prevent the smog, the Pakistani administration has gone to Europe to consult about its power. In this regard, Maryam Nawaz is under criticism for being out of the country on the pretext of getting treatment for a sore throat.

Who is Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi?
