He expressed concern over the widespread smog in Pakistan, especially in Punjab, while reminding that the UAE government had helped Pakistan in this regard during the caretaker government.
At that time, the UAE had sent special aircraft that do cloud seeding and this brought artificial rain in some areas. The rain brought relief to some citizens of Pakistan.

A UAE official said their officials are in touch with the government of Pakistan. He hoped that more measures would be taken to remedy the situation regarding smog.
