The wife and daughter of Australian batsman Travis Michael Head, who scored a century in the final, started receiving rape threats from Indians on various social media platforms.
Australian all-rounder Glenn James Maxwell’s Indian wife has also revealed that she received threatening messages from indian social media users.
Apart from this, New Zealand player James Douglas Sheahan Neesham, better known as Jimmy Neesham admitted receiving threats from Indian cricket fans in his Instagram story and said that Indians do not know the difference between Australian and New Zealand players.

The Australian cricketer’s wife and 1-year-old daughter have also been asked to take immediate action against those who threatened to rape them and to shut down their social media accounts.
