Sri Lanka beats Pakistani shaheens to reach Asia Cup final

In the first semi-final of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Emerging Teams T20 Asia Cup, Sri Lanka A defeated Pakistani Shaheens and secured a place in the final.
Sri Lanka A defeated Pakistan Shaheens by 7 wickets in the semi-final in the match played at Amrat Cricket Ground in Oman.
The Green Shirts scored 135 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Opener Omair bin Yousuf played an innings of 68 runs.
Apart from Haider Ali 14, Cricketer Mohammad Imran 13 and Arafat Minhas 10 runs, no other player could reach double figures in front of Sri Lanka’s bowling line.
In response, Sri Lanka achieved the target of 136 runs in the 17th overs at the loss of 3 wickets and set the finals.
Sir Lankan cricketer Ahan Wickramasinghe remained unbeaten with 52 runs while Lahiru Udara played an innings of 43 runs and played a prominent role in the team victory.
Pakistani Shaheens Sufian Muqeem and Abbas Afridi took 1, 1 wicket.
In the event, the second semi-final between Afghanistan and India will start at 6:30 pm while the final match will be played on Sunday.
