Sedhr Punjab finalizes Policy for teachers ratio in primary, elementary and high schools
All surplus EST and SST primary, elementary and high schools will be appointed as permanent heads.

The distribution of seats in primary, elementary and high schools in the education department will be as follows.
1: Students Teachers ration in Primary Schools
- Number of children 51 to 80 = three PSTs
- Head teacher = one EST
- Note: One teacher will be added with the increase in the number 40.
2: Students Teachers Ratio in Elementary Schools (One section)
- Science teacher = 1 post
- Arabic teacher = 1 post
- Drawing teacher = 1 post
- Arts teacher = 1 post
- Computer teacher = 1 post
- Headmaster = 1 post
- Note= If there are two sections, then every post except the head will be double.
3: Students Teachers Ratio in High Schools
- Arts teacher = 2 posts
- Science teacher = 2 posts
- Computer teacher = 1 post
- Headmaster/Principal = 1 post
- Note If there are two sections, then every post except the head will be double.
Note: All surplus EST and SST primary, elementary and high schools will be appointed as permanent heads.
