HRMS Sedhr Punjab: Free uniform distribution ceremony in Sahiwal

Sahiwal (Sedhr Punjab updates – Arshad Farooq Butt) District Education Officer Secondary Khadim Hussain Mohal has said that education is a weapon by which people achieve success and brighten the name of the country and the nation. Youth are the backbone of the country’s development.
Khadim Hussain Mohal was addressing the ceremony of distribution of free uniforms to the school children at Govt. Nangal Ambia Islamia High School, No.1 Sahiwal with the support of Bank of Punjab.
Headmaster Muhammad Salim, bank staff and teachers were also present on this occasion. He said that children are not only our present but also our future and providing basic facilities to them is the first priority.
On this occasion of Sedhr Punjab, DEO Khadim Hussain Mohal visited the school and was briefed about the educational activities. Later, he started the plantation campaign by planting saplings in the school’s green garden.
On this occasion, DEO Khadim Hussain Mohal thanked the bank administration for distributing free uniforms to the students under the helper scheme of Bank of Punjab.

Government Schools’ Teachers Protest Against Privatization
Government school teachers in Punjab province of Pakistan are on the roads for their rights and demands.
The teachers are of the view that the task of Punjab government want to shut down educational institutes so that the poor could not get education. Some steps taken by Punjab government are as under:
1. Government schools are being privatized.
2. The right of free government education is being usurped from the children of poor people.
3. Rights to free medical facilities are being usurped.
4. Financial rights of government employees are being usurped.
5. Pension rights are being cheated.
6. Permanent orders of teachers and AEOs are not being issued.
The teachers’ organizations are demanding that the Punjab government should withdraw the measures taken against the government employees. The schools which are given to NGOs are not working well and people use the buildings for their own purposes. Watch the video:
