According to the details, Rumy Alqahtani has shared a few photos of herself holding the flag of Saudi Arabia on the photo and video sharing app Instagram. While sharing these photos, she has written in the caption that:
It is an honor for me to participate in Miss Universe Debut 2024.
She further wrote that this is the first participation in the history of Saudi Arabia in the Miss Universe debut.
