Sahiwal Club organizes Annual lawn tennis tournament
The final match was held between Zeeshan Sheikh and Hashim Sheikh vs Asif Rauf and Hamza Naeem.
The annual lawn tennis tournament organized by Sahiwal Club has concluded in which more than 40 players from across the division participated.
The final match was held between Zeeshan Sheikh and Hashim Sheikh vs Asif Rauf and Hamza Naeem which was won by the team of Sheikh brothers 6-4 and 6-3.
In the senior category, the final was between the teams of Asif Rauf and Fayyaz Nazir vs Muzamil and Wajahat, which was won by Ola Lazkar team. Commissioner Sahiwal Division / President Sahiwal Club Shoaib Iqbal Syed was the special guest of the final competition.
Additional Commissioner Coordination Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Ikramul Haque, Club Secretary Mian Anjum Habib, Executive Committee members and a large number of players participated on this occasion. Shields were distributed among the winning players at the end of the final match.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Sahiwal Shoaib Iqbal Syed appreciated the hard work of Club Secretary Mian Anjum Habib and ground staff for preparing the best tennis lawn in the country at Sahiwal Club and said that Sahiwal Club members to participate in various sports. It is providing excellent facilities which should be availed.
