Robberies in Sahiwal continue to rise as the police appear helpless. The situation has spiraled out of control in areas under the jurisdiction of Ghala Mandi, Fateh Sher, and Harappa police stations.

Robbers snatched Rs 402,000 in cash, four mobile phones, and a motorcycle from the lady officer of the statistics department, salesmen, and landlords.

According to the details, the robbers targeted Ms. Irshad Gulab, a lady officer of the statistics department, at Girls College Chowk and stole Rs 22,000 in cash.

They robbed cigarette salesman Muhammad Nadeem Raza of Rs 35,000 in cash. At Arifwala Bridge, they took a mobile phone from Muhammad Asif, while at Chak 108/7-R, they snatched another mobile phone from Salalat Ali, along with Rs 32,000 in cash and a motorcycle (number 5038 SLM).

The robbers also looted Nazir Hussain Zamindar’s camp near Chak 69/12-L, stealing a transformer worth Rs 300,000 and fans worth Rs 13,000, and fled while firing shots.

Sahiwal Police Stations Fateh Sher, Ghala Mandi, and Harappa registered five cases based on complaints from Ms. Irshad Gulab, Muhammad Nadeem Raza, Muhammad Asif, Salalat Ali, and Nazir Hussain. Despite the investigations, the accused remain at large.
