Okara: Riaz ul Haq chaired a meeting regarding the “Punjab Cities Program”

Okara: Member of the National Assembly, Riaz ul Haq, and Deputy Commissioner Ahmad Usman Javed chaired a meeting regarding the “Punjab Cities Program”.

The meeting focused on constructing a comprehensive sewage system and wastewater treatment plant for Okara city.

Former Member of the National Assembly, Rao Mohammad Ajmal, along with officers from all relevant departments, attended the meeting.

Municipal Officer Infrastructure and Services, Hafiz Mohammad Tallat, briefed the participants, stating that the construction of the sewage system is progressing rapidly.

In addition, they are working on the wastewater treatment plant, constructing office buildings, installing manhole covers, and addressing other developmental matters.

Deputy Commissioner Ahmad Usman Javed assured that they would use all resources to complete the developmental projects on time.

Member of the National Assembly, Riaz ul Haq, stated that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has always played a key role in improving the public’s standard of living through excellent developmental projects, aiming to build public trust by strengthening infrastructure.

He emphasized that they will develop strategies and take all possible actions to ensure that the comprehensive sewage system project benefits the people of Okara city as much as possible.

Who is Riaz ul Haq Juj?

Riaz-ul-Haq, also known as Juj, is a Pakistani politician who has served as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from Okara.

He gained prominence when he contested as an independent candidate in the 2015 by-elections for NA-144 (Okara-II) and secured a significant victory.

His win was notable as it came against candidates backed by major political parties, showcasing his strong individual support base in the constituency.

During his tenure, he focused on local development projects and addressing issues related to his constituency.
