Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has overtaken Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi to claim the top spot in the ICC Men’s ODI Bowling Rankings.

The latest update, released on Wednesday, sees Afridi slip to second place, while South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj maintains his position in third.

Shaheen, who had climbed to the No. 1 ranking following his exceptional performance against Australia—taking eight wickets at an average of 12.62—was rested for Pakistan’s ongoing series against Zimbabwe, allowing Rashid to leapfrog him.

Haris Rauf, Afridi’s bowling partner and Player of the Series in the Australia tour, has also seen a drop, slipping two spots to 15th in the rankings.

Pakistan’s young opener Saim Ayub has made a remarkable leap in the ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings.

His scintillating century during Pakistan’s 10-wicket win against Zimbabwe in the second ODI propelled him 80 places up to secure the 90th spot.

Despite the emerging talent, the batting charts remain dominated by Babar Azam, who continues to hold the No. 1 position.

Jasprit Bumrah Returns to the Top in Test Bowling Rankings

Meanwhile, India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has reclaimed the No. 1 position in the ICC Test Bowling Rankings.

Bumrah’s brilliant match figures of 8/72 in India’s commanding 295-run win over Australia in the opening Test in Perth propelled him past Josh Hazlewood and Kagiso Rabada.

With a career-best 883 rating points, Bumrah now holds the highest-ever tally for an Indian pacer.

India’s spin duo Ravichandran Ashwin (904) and Ravindra Jadeja (899) remain the only bowlers from the country with higher career-best ratings in Test history.

Bumrah topped the Test rankings for the third time this year, after holding the spot in February and October.

India’s batting stars also made gains in the latest Test rankings.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, after his phenomenal century in the Perth Test, climbed to a career-best second position, trailing only England’s Joe Root.

Virat Kohli’s impressive knock saw him jump nine spots to secure 13th place, further strengthening India’s batting dominance.
