According to details, PTI-backed independent candidate Rana Amir Shehzad Tahir and local party officials, workers protested against alleged rigging in the general elections held on February 8, 2024.
A large number of party workers participated in the protest. Talking to the media, Rana Amir Shahzad Tahir said that the Election Commission has stolen their mandate by altering the results.
People made PTI candidates successful by voting freely. Whereas I and PTI candidates from other areas were defeated by rigging to win the PML-N candidates who will not accept it under any circumstances.
Sahiwal Police Booked Rana Amir Shahzad for holding a rally
A case has been registered against more than 150 people, including PTI-backed independent candidate Rana Amir Shehzad Tahir and Mian Sajjad Nasir, for holding a rally against alleged rigging in the election 2024.
