Fans pay respect to Queen Elizabeth on her second anniversary
The monarchy’s official social media account shared a touching tribute to Queen Elizabeth on X.
The Royal Family is observing the second anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II death. King Charles was present at a service held in Crathie Kirk, which is close to Balmoral.
A heartfelt homage to Queen Elizabeth was posted on the monarchy’s official social media account X. It included a picture of the late Queen, beaming during a summer garden party at Buckingham Palace in 2019 and wearing a pink hat and ensemble.
“Remembering Queen Elizabeth II, 1926–2022,” the post said King Charles and Queen Camilla were spotted making their way to the little granite church on Royal Deeside for the Sunday morning service.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer paid tribute to the late Queen, highlighting the “70 glorious years of her reign” among the many tributes that was received.
