Punjab Small Industries Corporation holds seminar at GCT Sahiwal

Punjab Small Industries Corporation organizes a special awareness seminar on Punjab Employment Scheme at Government College of Technology Sahiwal.
The aim of the seminar was to make as many skilled youth aware of this scheme as possible so that they can earn their own employment by starting a business. Students of all the technical colleges of Sahiwal participated in the event.
Director Small Industries Corporation Sabih Zaka specially participated in the session and provided information about the usefulness of Punjab Employment Scheme and its benefits for skilled youth.
He said that the development of Pakistan is possible only by providing employment opportunities to skilled people by providing them with better resources.
He said that the Punjab government has started this project with a huge sum of 30 billion rupees, under which loans ranging from 1 lakh to 1 crore rupees are being provided on easy terms.
Director TEVTA Mazhar Farooq said that on the special instructions of the Punjab government, a summer camp for male and female students was started during the holidays so that the children would be able to earn their own jobs by learning skills.
Regional Director Sahiwal Obaidullah Afzal said that Punjab Small Industries Corporation under the leadership of Secretary Industries Ehsan Bhatta and Managing Director Asim Javed is always trying day and night for the development of small and medium scale industries.
He said that by establishing industrial estate and providing loans on easy terms, it will be possible to provide employment to millions of people across the province and the industry sector will develop.
