Maryam Aurangzeb stated that the change in the direction and speed of eastern winds has significantly improved smog conditions in the province.
After recent rainfall in various parts of Punjab, the Department of Environmental Protection issued a notification announcing the reopening of educational institutions in divisions other than Multan and Lahore.
The notification, signed by EPA Director-General Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh, highlighted an improvement in air quality in most districts of Punjab due to rain, changes in wind direction, and speed.
