Govt. Employees deprived of the Postal Ballot Papers in Sahiwal
ROs maintain that the duty orders signed by the ECP for the election have not been issued yet.
Due to the incompetence and mismanagement of the Election Commission of Pakistan, government employees in Sahiwal and Chichawatni have been deprived of the right to vote through postal ballot papers.
According to the details, government employees are facing difficulties in getting postal ballot papers. Staff at the offices of the Returning Officers are not receiving applications for postal ballot paper.
They maintain that the duty orders signed by the ECP for the election have not been issued yet. After receiving the duty order, government employees and teachers will be able to apply for the postal ballot paper.
It is practically impossible now as only four days are left for the election 2024, including the Sunday holiday. It should be noted that in the last election, postal ballot voting was completed 15 days before the election 2018.
There is a feeling among government employees that their votes will be cast by the government in favor of the candidate of its choice. This election 2024 has become a joke.
