May 9: Justice for People, Not Army – Military Spokesperson

Despite Pakistan's efforts, terrorists from Afghan soil continue to carry out attacks.

He emphasized that the process of justice will continue until the real sinister characters and planners behind the events of May 9 are held accountable.

He added that some people poison the minds of the youth for their political motives.

The masterminds behind this toxic narrative and propaganda are the real culprits.

He clarified that military courts have international legal endorsement and that those opposing these courts were once their biggest advocates.

He remarked that some false narratives claimed that the May 9 attacks were orchestrated by agencies, and now these agitators should be pleased as agency personnel involved are also being punished.

Regarding the matter of Faiz Hameed, he urged restraint in commentary.

He welcomed the offer of negotiations among politicians and their response, adding that instead of confusion and narrative-making, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government should focus on good governance.

The control of disruptive politics, he said, lies outside the country on social media.

Human rights organizations making noise should run similar campaigns for Gaza and Kashmir. The Pakistan Army has full capability to give a decisive response to any Indian aggression.

Despite Pakistan’s efforts, terrorists from Afghan soil continue to carry out attacks.

The roots of terrorism extend to Afghanistan, and no effort will be spared in dismantling terrorist networks.

He stressed that no political leader’s ambition for power is greater than Pakistan.

On the May 9 conspiracy, he said it was a well-planned and coordinated scheme, and those involved must face justice. In military trials, the accused have legal rights, and the same applies to Faiz Hameed.
