Pakistan and Kuwait sign 7 business agreements

Kuwait (UAE Urdu News- APP) Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwarul Haq Kakar has left for Dubai to participate in the 28th session of the United Nations Conference of Parties (COP 28) after completing a two-day official visit to Kuwait.

During his visit to Kuwait, Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar held separate meetings with Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Talal and Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal.

According to the details, Pakistan and Kuwait have signed 7 agreements and 3 memorandums of understanding to invest billions of dollars in various sectors including food security, agriculture, hydropower and minerals.

On Wednesday, Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar met Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Talal Al Khalid Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir was also present during the meeting between the two leaders.

The two leaders reiterated their desire to further strengthen the fraternal relationship by transforming it into a beneficial economic partnership.

The two leaders attended the signing of 7 agreements and 3 memorandums of understanding between Pakistan and Kuwait.

The State of Kuwait has established a mining fund for cooperation in various sectors of Pakistan, including food security, agriculture, hydropower, supply of clean water for drinking and mining activities, technology zones development and protection of mangroves, including billions of dollars. 7 MoUs were signed.

Apart from this, 3 MoUs were also signed for cooperation in the fields of culture and art, environment and sustainable development.
