Okara Police killed a hotel owner for not giving extortion
Okara Police beat the hotel owner and took him in a car and after 20 minutes they left the dead body outside the hotel.

According to the family members, 4 officers and the driver of Sadar police station came to the hotel and started beating the hotel owner Khalid. They beat him and took him in a car and after 20 minutes they left the dead body outside the hotel.
The relatives of the deceased protested strongly by stopping traffic on the National Highway. The police cleared the bypass on the assurance of justice. The dead body was shifted to the hospital and the police started the investigation.
The family members of the deceased hotel owner Khalid have appealed for justice from Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and IG Punjab.
DSP says that a transparent inquiry will be conducted into the incident. An application is being received from the relatives on which an FIR will be filed. Whoever was involved in the incident would indeed be punished.
Okara Police register a case against its killer constables
After media pressure and protest of the relatives of the deceased, Okara police has registered an FIR against ASI Shokat, Shakoor, Waseem and Naeem.
