In a statement on social media website X (formerly Twitter), Caretaker Information and Broadcasting Minister Murtaza Solangi has announced to pay homage to Queen of music Noor Jehan.
Murtaza Solangi has written in his post that on the occasion of Madam Noor Jehan’s 23rd anniversary, her popular songs will be presented on government TV from December 1 to December 23 every day.
Caretaker Information and Broadcasting Minister Murtaza Solangi also wrote that we have decided that a song of Madam Noor Jehan will be broadcast every day from Friday at 11 pm.
It should be noted that Madam Noor Jahan, who reigned over millions of hearts and awakened the charm of her voice, will complete 23 years of passing away on December 23. She died on 23 December 2000 due to a heart attack in Karachi.
Even today, her songs are immensely popular among the people. He was also honored with Presidential Award for Excellence in Performance and Medal of Distinction for her outstanding performance.
