Govt completes arrangements for Nigehban Ramzan Package

As per the instructions of the Punjab Government, the district administration has completed all the arrangements for the distribution of packets of essential items to the poor families during the month of Ramadan under the “Nigehban Ramzan Package”.

Under this package, these packets will be delivered door to door to 190350 households across the district. Each packet will contain 10 kg of flour and 2, 2 kg of sugar, ghee, rice and flour.

To finalize the arrangements, a special meeting was held at Montgomery Hall presided over by Deputy Commissioner Ikram ul Haq.

Additional Deputy Commissioners Aitzaz Aslam Marth (Revenue), Yasir Fareed (Finance), Syed Usman Munir Bukhari (General) and District Officer Industries Atif Raza Mir also attended the meeting.

It was informed in the meeting that 115083 of these people registered in Benazir Income Support Program belong to Sahiwal tehsil and 75267 from Chichawatani tehsil and they will be provided with these consumer goods worth about 4000 rupees, on which 73 crore 70 lakh rupees will be provided. will cost more than

Deputy Commissioner Ikram ul Haq directed that comprehensive arrangements should be made for the delivery of the goods to the remote areas of the district and to deliver it to every house so that every household can be provided with the goods on time.

This delivery process will be started from March 5. He strictly instructed that the quality of the items should be ensured and the full weight should also be ensured.
