Election 2024: Expected Candidates from NA-141 Sahiwal

In the election 2018, Syed Imran Shah, the candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-N, came on top with 120697 votes.

The name of National Assembly Constituency NA 141 from Sahiwal was NA 147 in Election 2018. The boundaries of this constituency for the seat of the National Assembly are as follows.

1. Metropolitan Corporation Sahiwal (Charge No. 9 to 12)
2. Following areas of Sahiwal Tehsil:
Noor Shah Qanungo Halqa
Qadirabad Qanungo Halqa
Yusufwala Qanungo Halqa (Excluding the following Patwar Circles)
Chuck No. 78/5L
Chuck No. 80/5L
Chuck No. 111/9L
Sahiwal Qanungo Halqa includes the following Patwar Circles:
●Chuck No. 78/5R
●Chuck No. 81/5R
●Chuck No. 90/9L
3. Circle No. 4 and 5 of Okara Cantt (which fall under the revenue jurisdiction of District Sahiwal)

In the election 2018, Syed Imran Shah, the candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-N, came on top with 120697 votes. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Chaudhry Noraiz Shakoor came second with 86462 votes. PPP candidate Aamir Shahzad came third with 22765 votes. Khalid Saeed Kamiana of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Labbaik came fourth with 11693 votes.

Former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Member of Parliament Syed Imran Shah is present in this constituency and is a strong candidate for the ticket.

Chaudhry Noraiz Shakoor has now become a darling of the Istehkam e Pakistan Party along with his son Ali Noraiz. Ali Noraiz is the son-in-law of Malik Nauman Ahmed Langriyal, a key leader of the Istehkam e Pakistan Party.

Rana Aftab Ahmed Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is present in the constituency and is a strong candidate for the ticket. Rana Aftab Ahmad Khan is a former MPA and president of PTI Sahiwal.

Among other political parties, Zaki Chaudhry is campaigning for election 2024 from People’s Party. Zaki Chaudhry is the President of People’s Party Sahiwal. The specific vote bank of Jamaat-e-Islami and Tehreek-e-Labbaik will also affect the overall results.

After the shift in political allegiances in NA 141, the workers will now be tested whether they stand with the electables or with party ideologies, currently in limbo.
