Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, Special Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, says that education should be a part of the national narrative.
Secretary Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani addressed the Education Emergency Session on the second day of the 3-day literature festival in Islamabad.
On this occasion, he said that public-private partnership will have to be done. About 65,000 children get free food in primary schools of Islamabad. Free eye screening has been started in schools while health centers have been set up in 125 schools.
He also said that early childhood education sessions have been started in 100 schools. Secretary Education said that government schools in Islamabad have been renovated. The government of Pakistan is converting 125 schools to solar in 3 months.
Wani said that 8 thousand girls travel in Prime Minister Pink buses every day. The government is building artificial intelligence and robotics labs in 7 schools. Software technology parks have been created in 5 colleges of Islamabad.
Mohyuddin Wani said that 550 classrooms have been transferred to smart classrooms. Art and podcast rooms have been set up in 20 schools.
He said that 5 thousand children have shifted from private to government schools. International languages are also being taught in government schools in Islamabad.
Education Secretary said that 2500 teachers have been trained for financial literacy. Telescopes have been installed in schools for the first time in Islamabad.
