Smart Lockdown imposed in Lahore Division to control Smog
The air in Lahore is extremely unhealthy and the number of particulate meters in the city has been recorded at 372.

Smart Lockdown has been imposed in Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Sahiwal and Sargodha divisions and officers have been directed to remain in the field to prevent unnecessary movement and violations.
In order to control smog, stricter measures were taken today in ten districts including Lahore.
Restrictions will not apply to medical stores, petrol pumps, bakeries, grocery stores, utility stores, call centers and IT centers in the lockdown.
Movement in various districts will be restricted and all markets will remain closed till 4 pm.
Lahore’s Mall Road will remain closed for all types of traffic today and only cyclists and pedestrians will be allowed to travel.
