Kuwait to invest 10 billion dollars in Pakistan
This approval was given in Friday's meeting of the caretaker federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister.
The caretaker federal cabinet of Pakistan has approved 7 memorandums of understanding for investment between Pakistan and Kuwait.
The memorandums of understanding for investment will be signed during the visit of the prime minister of Pakistan to Kuwait.
This approval was given in Friday’s meeting of the caretaker federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, which was held at the Prime Minister’s House, Islamabad.
As a result of the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, Kuwait will sign memorandums of understanding to invest $10 billion in 7 projects of various sectors in Pakistan.
These projects include expansion of water reservoirs, mining facilities, protection and expansion of mangrove forests for coastal areas, investment projects in the IT sector, and food security projects.
The Prime Minister and the Federal Cabinet appreciated the efforts of the Special Investment Council and the concerned ministries in this regard.
