Kanye West Faces Fresh Allegations from Former Donda Academy Teacher

New allegations have emerged against Kanye West from a former teacher at his Donda Academy, raising concerns about the school’s management and student welfare.

Cecilia Hailey, who initially joined the academy as a substitute teacher in November 2022 and transitioned to a full-time role, claims that inadequate facilities and poor policies negatively affected students’ health.

Hailey, alongside other teachers, filed a lawsuit last year against the academy, alleging widespread mismanagement.

Speaking with The U.S. Sun, Hailey described her unsettling experience, emphasizing that students were compelled to stay in school when they were ill due to a lack of proper care facilities.

We did have kids that got sick. It was still Covid time, and they would sit around on a couch on one of those foam cushions and just kind of suffer through it until somebody came and picked them up.

Hailey recounted, noting the absence of a designated space for ill students.

The teacher also pointed out that classrooms lacked adequate ventilation, as windows were blacked out, and students were deprived of outdoor play areas.

According to Hailey, these conditions compromised both students’ health and overall school operations.

Hailey’s concerns reportedly led to her dismissal in March 2023 after she voiced these issues.

The lawsuit accuses the academy of failing to meet fundamental educational and safety standards. The complaint highlights a lack of essential services, including janitorial staff, medical personnel, and proper student record-keeping.

Hailey noted, “We didn’t have records for students, and we didn’t have proof of who they were, if they were registered.”

In addition, the lawsuit alleges that Kanye West’s preferences impacted classroom arrangements. “Kanye had a problem with stairs, so classes that were previously held upstairs were moved downstairs,” Hailey stated.

The former teacher described the environment as “ridiculous,” adding, “A kid could come off the street, and they may want you to put them into school.

Kanye West has denied these allegations, and the lawsuit is set to proceed to trial in 2025.
