US President Joe Biden has said that Gaza and the West Bank should eventually be united under a new Palestinian Authority.
In an article published in the American newspaper Washington Post, President Joe Biden said that moving towards a two-state solution, Gaza and the West Bank should be united under a renewed Palestinian Authority.
It should be noted that the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the Palestinian Authority is not capable of taking responsibility for Gaza in its current state.
On the other hand, the head of the United Nations aid agency, Martin Griffiths, has reiterated the request for a ceasefire to deliver aid to the people affected by the bloody fighting between Israel and Hamas.
