Pakistan to build Largest IT Park in Islamabad
In this regard, CDA says that a plot has also been allotted for the IT park Islamabad.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) of Islamabad has decided to build the largest IT park in Pakistan. The Government of Pakistan has approved the project to build an IT park on an area of 3.3 acres in Sector G-10 Islamabad.

According to the Capital Development authority Islamabad, the IT Park will be established under Public Private Partnership. The covered area of the park will cover one lakh square feet. Furthermore, 5 to 6 thousand freelancers will be able to work in the IT park.
CDA says in this regard that the IT park will provide space for freelancers, startups, and software houses.
The CDA authority has said that the IT park will have a library and space for exhibiting IT products. Space will also be allocated for research centers, conference halls, meeting rooms in the IT park Islamabad.
According to the authority, private companies will bear all the costs of building the Islamabad IT Park. After 15 years, this park will be completely handed over to CDA. Private companies will rent space in the park and build IT offices.
Freelancers has welcomed the government initiative and hoped that Pakistan will earn millions of dollars through this project.
