It has been reported that if a user recently installed iOS 18, they might have noticed an app called ‘Passwords’ automatically downloaded to their phone’s home screen.

According to experts, this app called ‘Passwords’ can access all the passwords saved on the user’s phone.

Developer and security researcher Tommy Mesk warned that the app is using ‘unencrypted’ HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), which means that if a user uses the app to log into a webpage, their data could be leaked.

Experts also mentioned that this issue has been resolved in iPhones, but to ensure the security of iPhone users’ data, they need to update their phones.
