Imran Khan allowed to meet PTI leaders by Prison Authorities

The Punjab government had banned meetings on March 12 due to security concerns.

Adiala Jail Prison authorities have allowed 11 leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to meet the PTI founder Imran Khan.

According to Geo News, Barrister Gohar, Shoaib Shaheen, Sher Afzal Marwat, Faisal Javed, Zartaj Gul and Umair Niazi are also among those who can meet the founder PTI Imran Khan.

It should be noted that earlier the two-week ban on meetings with political and ordinary prisoners in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail was lifted. The Punjab government had banned meetings on March 12 due to security concerns.

According to the jail administration, meetings have been resumed in Adiala jail from today, the purpose of the ban was to protect more than 7,000 prisoners, including the founder of PTI Imran Khan.
