Federal government announces sedition investigation against Imran Khan

The FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing has completed an inquiry into Imran Khan’s social media activities, after the results of which this decision was taken.

- After the approval of the federal cabinet, Imran Khan will be tried in a special anti-terrorism court.
- Preparations are being made to file a complaint under Section 196 of the CrPC for the action, which is necessary to fulfill the legal requirements.
