The Punjab government has issued an updated notification listing the latest divisions, districts, and tehsils across the province.
According to this notification, Punjab now comprises 10 divisions, 41 districts, and 156 tehsils. Key changes include the addition of Kot Addu District and Chowk Sarwar Shaheed Tehsil.
Details of Punjab’s Divisions, Districts, and Tehsils:
1. Lahore Division:
- Districts: Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib
- Tehsils: 22
2. Gujranwala Division:
- Districts: Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal
- Tehsils: 11
3. Gujrat Division:
- Districts: Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Wazirabad
- Tehsils: 12
4. Rawalpindi Division:
- Districts: Rawalpindi, Murree, Chakwal, Attock, Jhelum, Talagang
- Tehsils: 24
5. Multan Division:
- Districts: Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal
- Tehsils: 14
6. Sahiwal Division:
- Districts: Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Okara
- Tehsils: 7
7. Bahawalpur Division:
- Districts: Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan
