Punjab’s largest Higher Education Internship Program marks a historic step aimed at improving the education system and providing employment opportunities to young individuals.
Under this program, recruitment of 7,354 college teachers for Punjab’s public colleges has been successfully completed, making it a significant advancement in the field of higher education.
Key Features of the Program:
- Monthly Stipend: Each college teacher intern will receive PKR 50,000 per month.
- Duration: The internship program will last for 8 months, during which the interns will serve in public colleges until March 31.
- Transparency: All recruitments were carried out purely on merit, a practice praised by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
Additional Initiatives:
E-Transfer Policy: The transfer and posting of 962 teachers have also been completed, reflecting the government’s adoption of modern technology.
