Baby kidnapped from Govt Haji Abdul Qayyum Teaching Hospital Sahiwal

Sahiwal (Sahiwal Updates – 13 August 2023) An unknown woman has kidnapped a newborn baby from Government Haji Abdul Qayyum Teaching Hospital Sahiwal at 2 am.

According to the details, newborn baby of Zubair in Government Haji Abdul Qayyum Hospital of Sahiwal was kidnapped by an unknown woman. The heirs protested and said that the abducted woman kept walking in the hospital for four hours continuously, but the security did not bother to check.

As soon as the incident was reported, Regional Police Officer DIG Mehboob Rasheed took strict notice and called for the report of the incident. The RPO ordered the immediate arrest of the accused, her facilitators and the recovery of the newborn hostage, and also gave orders to keep him informed about the follow-up measures.

RPO Mehboob Rasheed was told that a special police team had been formed under the leadership of DSP City Sahiwal, which also includes IT experts.

A special police team has obtained the CCTV footage of the child’s abduction. In the light of the concrete evidence found at the crime scene, the efforts of the police to recover the child and arrest the accused have entered the final stages.

RPO Mehboob Rasheed said that the child’s recovery and the arrest of the accused should be done in the next 48 hours. Any kind of negligence or laziness in this regard will be unacceptable.

Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal took notice of the abduction of a newborn baby from Haji Qayyum Hospital Sahiwal.

Taking notice of the abduction of a newborn baby from Qayyum Hospital, Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal has set up an inquiry committee for a complete investigation of the incident. The Additional Deputy Commissioner will be the head of the General Committee.

The committee will review all aspects of the incident, steps will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future. Efforts are being made to recover the child, the Deputy Commissioner also met the victim’s family.
