England makes 36 runs for 2 wickets, Pakistan position is strong

The third day of the second Test in Multan is over, chasing Pakistan target of 297 runs, England have scored 36 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.

English players seem to be struggling in pursuit of the national team target of 297 on a difficult wicket. The century maker of the previous innings, Ben Duckett, got out without scoring a run, while Zach Crowley was the guest for 3 runs.

The third day of  Test in Multan is over, chasing Pakistan target of 297 runs, England have scored 36 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.

Sajid Khan, who took 7 wickets in the previous innings, dismissed Ben Duckett while Noman stumped Crowley.

Ollie Pope 21 and Joe Root 12 will open the game on the fourth day. England need 261 more runs to win while Pakistan need 8 wickets.

On the third day of the match being played at the Multan Cricket Stadium, the Pakistan team was bowled out for 221 runs in the second innings. Thus, England has got a target of 297 runs to win.

In the second innings, Salman Ali Agha was outstanding from Pakistan with 63 runs while Saud Shakeel scored 31, Kamran Ghulam 26, Muhammad Rizwan 23, Saim Ayub and Sajid Khan scored 22 and 22 runs respectively.

In the second innings from England, Shoaib Bashir took 4 outs. Jack Leach took 3 wickets, Brydon Carse 2 and Matthew Potts took 1 wicket.

The national team was dismissed for 366 runs in the first innings. In this innings, Kamran Ghulam scored 118 runs while Saim Ayub scored 77 runs.

England team could score 291 runs in the first innings. Ben Duckett played a responsible innings of 114 runs. From Pakistan, Sajid Khan took 7 wickets, Noman Ali sent 3 players to the pavilion.
