After the UAE authorities introduced a new policy, the number of Indians getting rejected for Dubai visa applications has increased.

Indian media reported that the rate of rejection of tourist visa applications for Dubai has increased, which has never been seen before.

It is being told that earlier around 99 percent of applications were approved, while only one to two percent of tourist visa applications were rejected.

According to Indian media, after the Dubai Immigration Department introduced strict conditions for tourist visas, the rate of rejection of applications has reached 6 percent.

The new policy on tourist visas by the UAE authorities includes showing a copy of the return ticket, QR code of hotel booking, while people who are visiting their relatives will have to provide additional evidence regarding the person present there.

Meanwhile, Indian travel agents say that companies are facing financial losses due to rejection of applications, including hotel bookings and tickets, etc.

It should be noted that the documents that the Emirati authorities have made mandatory for online visa applications were previously shown at Emirati airports at the request of the relevant officer.

In addition, the Emirati authorities have also imposed a condition that before coming here, the tourist must also provide proof that he has sufficient funds to stay in Dubai.
