The court says that Donald Trump is not eligible to be a candidate because of his involvement in the attack on Capitol Hill.

President Trump’s election campaign has described the court decision as wrong and undemocratic.

The court decision will apply only to Colorado, the Trump spokesman has announced an appeal to the US Supreme Court, calling the decision undemocratic.

It should be noted that Donald Trump has until January 4 to appeal the Colorado court’s decision. The state primary in Colorado is scheduled for March 5, 2024.
