Divisional Public School Sahiwal has started admissions to O level classes which will start from September.

In the initial phase, the classes will be held at Ravi Campus, which will be shifted to DPS Sahiwal after the construction of the new building.
This was informed in the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Sahiwal Education Trust which was presided over by Commissioner Sahiwal/Chairman Board of Trustees Shoaib Iqbal Syed.
The meeting was attended by Trust Secretary/Additional Commissioner Coordination Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Vice Chairman/Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Ikram ul Haq, Principal DPS Brigadier (Rtd) Syed Anwar Al Hasan Kirmani and members Chaudhry Sultan Mehmood, Professor Qamar ul Zaman Khan, Mian Muhammad Siddique Kamiana Advocate. Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah, Habib Jilani Venus and DPS Bursar Kashif Sattar also participated.
The commissioner termed the launch of the classes as a milestone in the history of the school and directed that high standards of education should be maintained in the O-level classes as well so that more and more students get enrolled in these classes.
The meeting also approved the allocation of Rs 7 crore in the initial phase for the construction of their own building for Cambridge classes.
The meeting also approved a 20 percent increase in the salaries of all the teachers and employees of the three DPS campuses on the initial scale.
On the suggestion of Deputy Commissioner Ikram ul Haq, the proposal to switch all the school campuses to solar was also approved. The budget of all campuses for the financial year 2023-24 was also approved in the meeting.
